BÜKKSZÉRC
There are several places of interest in and around Bükkszérc, including:
Bükk mountains is one of Hungary’s largest national parks and is located near Bükkzsérc. The park is known for its unspoiled nature, hiking trails, caves and rock formations.
Located approximately 40 kilometers from Bükkzsérc, this medieval castle offers spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It was built in the 14th century and is one of Hungary’s best-preserved castles.
This cave is just 5 kilometers away from Bükkzsérc and is a popular attraction for visitors. It boasts impressive stalactites and stalagmites and an underground lake.
The church of Bükkzsérc is a 19th century neo-Gothic building with a striking tower dominating the village. It’s impressive interior is definitely also worth a visit.
Thermal Spa Bogács is located 8 kilometers from Bükkzsérc and offers several pools and wellness services to its visitors. The medicinal water of the thermal bath is known to promote health and rehabilitation.
